Rock Star's in the house

That's me, and the man known ( legally ) as Rock Star.  He brought with him the new addition to Revolution Malibu - The swarovski studded Paul Stanley Apocolypse guitar the Kiss band member played in 2000. This baby is for sale ( not the guy, but the guitar ) - it'll set you back $10,000 - a steal if you ask me!

Live from Malibu

Our new location at the Trancas Country Mart is finally coming together...
In case you are wondering why we moved, it was constantly wet in our space - not from customers who came in from the beach - from leaky pipes.
Nonetheless, we are given a new start...
Ten months after the first start.
The new look in our store is dedicated to the past - and to the history of this space. It used to be called "The Borderline" and this particular area was the bar where the likes of Eddie Van Halen and Bob Dylan used to have jam sessions. So loud it cracked the mirrors on the wall ( or so we would like to think - and have a few made ourselves ).

Here is the front reception area. The reception desk is from the old bar. We decided to keep it and paint it black.

The "lounge" area we created.

Displays of our shredded t's.

Cute and beachy...

and more dispalys...

More pics to come as we finish our jewelry case and the workshop space.
Around town? Stop in! We'd love to see you!

In case you didn't understand me ...

I am sick for skulls.

Flower Power

This Jacket ( from Maison Martin Margiela ) is sick.
The only thing is, if my man is sporting this, it better have a few skulls on it too.
Still - it's pretty sick.
DIY anyone?

Today's to do list at Revolution Malibu

We thought we'd share the things we'd like to get accomplished today at Revolution Malibu. Some fun, some not so fun - but we do have fun doing the not-so-fun together. Video of that soon.

1. Clean up the mess and take pics of the store for the blog.

2. Make this t-shirt

3. Go downtown to buy rhinestones, studs, lace, etc...

4. I'm itching to make these :

4. Go to Kinko's to laser copy some cool images to make these :

Our Project Ecoart belt buckles and coasters. Available online soon.

Busy day ahead!

DIY-ing for these

You mean start another "labor-intensive-yet-immediate-gratification" ( does that make sense )
 DIY like this?
Wouldn't you?

A new era begins...

As we ready for our new location to open, the new ideas and possibilities are all around us.
